The Kenora Catholic District School Board recognizes leadership as the second most important factor in improving student achievement. To this end the Catholic leader profile identifies the key qualities and skills necessary to create and support a positive learning environment for both students and teachers.
The qualities we strive to develop within our leadership teams are:

| Trusting | *Interactions with students, staff, and leaders creates a trusting environment in the manner in which issues are discussed. |
| Trustworthy | *Instills a sense of trust when working with colleagues. |
| Integrity | *Actions and decisions are consistent and tempered with an understanding of possible mitigating circumstances. |
| Realistic | *Sets achievable goals and timelines. |
