The progress and success of all students in the Kenora Catholic District School Board is contingent on having effective leadership at every level to guide and support teaching and learning in our schools. The Kenora Catholic District School Board recognizes the need to have an effective director, superintendents, principals, and vice-principals in order to support teacher excellence, create outstanding schools and foster student achievement and well-being.
The Kenora Catholic District School Board Leadership Development Strategy has been developed to attract and develop leadership of the highest quality.
The Strategy is directly aligned with and supports the provincial education goals. The underlying principles of the Strategy are based upon the Ontario Leadership Framework which is used as a self-assessment guide for leaders adn aspiring leaders to set goals, determine indicators of success, and develop next steps in their personal growth plans. The Ontario Leadership Framework includes the Five Core Leadership capacities.
