Pope John Paul II School is our largest and newest School located in Kenora, built in 2008 Pope John Paul II houses approximately 398 students.
Our Staff
The Staff at Pope John Paul II School is dedicated to ensuring that all students become life-long learners with the perseverance to strive for excellence, having the self-awareness of their God-given gifts that make them unique.
Academic Programs
Unique programs at Pope John Paul II School include Northern Studies, Ojibway second language, dedicated Physical Education teachers, Reading Recovery, and the Focus Intervention Plus (FIP) junior grade academic boast program. Our Cardinal Virtues program highlights our Catholic Cardinal/Theological virtues, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Grandfather teachings through monthly assemblies and guest speakers. The foundation of the Catholic community at Pope John Paul is "Respect for God, Self and Others".We are a Catholic School Community that walks in a path with Christ, in faith, with friends, and to our future.
