Director of Education Performance Appraisal

The Kenora Catholic District School Board follows the process outlined by the Ministry of Education and Ontario Regulation 83/24, for the annual performance appraisal of the Director of Education.

Each year, the Board of Trustees works closely with the Director through a Performance Appraisal Committee to review goals and progress. The appraisal process includes gathering input from Trustees and, during full evaluation years, collecting feedback from a sample of staff, families, and community partners.

This process helps ensure strong leadership and alignment with the goals of the Board and the Ministry of Education.

Confirmation of Appraisal Completion

As required by the Ministry of Education, KCDSB is providing written confirmation that the Director of Education's performance appraisal has been completed and approved by the Board of Trustees. Please see the PDF in the document library below.

Community Partners and Stakeholders

During full evaluation years, feedback is collected from a broad range of community representatives and education partners. This helps provide a well-rounded understanding of the Director's leadership and impact.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact the Office of the Director of Education.
