Parents of St. Thomas Aquinas High School students went back to school on Wednesday as TA hosted their Saints in Action open house. Families were invited to come into the school and see their child's classes taking place.

"You sign in, get a pass and then we have a guide to take you around to where you want to go and to show you your child's classroom," said Grade 12 student Parker Stevenson.

Parents were welcomed on the front steps by music performed by students. Once inside there was a Saints merchandise table as well as a table full of desserts all made by the culinary students. The Saints courts sports teams were also in action, so parents were encouraged to stop by the gym.

"We're trying to do it differently so we can help get as many parents as possible here. A lot of parents can't come at night so we're doing it during the day," said Stevenson.

Parents seemed to enjoy the open house which allowed them to glimpse what everyday life is like for their child at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
