The spirit of the voyageurs is coming back to life as the KCDSB community prepares for another unforgettable Festival du Voyageur celebration.
Hosted by École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys in collaboration with St. John Paul II School, St. Louis Living Arts School, and St. Thomas Aquinas High School, this annual festival invites families and community members to experience an evening filled with culture, history, and winter fun.

📍 Location: École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys, 20 Gunne Crescent
Guests will be transported back to the days of the voyageurs with an atmosphere rich in Métis and French-Canadian heritage. The evening will feature live music, a welcoming bonfire, and a variety of interactive games and activities designed to spark adventure for all ages.
A special highlight of the evening will be the Cabane à Sucre experience, where guests can take part in this beloved French-Canadian tradition and enjoy a true taste of voyageur culture.
No winter festival would be complete without delicious food to keep everyone warm. Visitors can enjoy hot chocolate and other sweet voyageur-inspired treats throughout the evening.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best voyageur attire to fully embrace the experience. This event is open to KCDSB school families and the wider community.
