Flags Lowered to Half-Mast on April 28, 2026 for National Day of Mourning
Flags at all Kenora Catholic District School Board schools and facilities are lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in recognition of the National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace.
This day honours workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or experienced illness as a result of their work. We remember them with respect and hold their families, friends, and communities in our thoughts and prayers.
