Focusing on Fundamental Math
Jordan Temple, Numeracy Facilitator provided a report Focusing on Fundamental Math. Temple reported that the board is implementing recommendations and interventions from data collected during the board's research partnership with Lakehead University's Faculty of Education. At the beginning of the 2018 – 2019 School Year, Kenora Catholic is adding a Math Support teacher in each elementary school to provide extra support for teachers and students.
