Families with young children in Kenora will have another option for play time on Saturdays with the brand new Early Years Open Gym. Kenora agencies have teamed up to offer a FREE play time for children from ages 0-6 starting in the New Year.

FIREFLY, EarlyON, The Kenora Catholic District School Board, the NeChee Friendship Centre and the Kenora Association for Community Living have come together to open up the gyms of St. Louis School and Pope John Paul II School to offer a free two hours of active play time.

There will be plenty of equipment and toys for families to play with. Snacks will also be provided. The Open Gym will run from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The aim of the program is to offer a free space where parents and their children can have fun and be active together.
