Clubs and Inter-School Sports
Clubs, activities, sports teams, bands and extra-curriculars are permitted following all health and safety protocols. Cohorts may interact outdoors with physical distancing and indoors with masking and appropriate physical distancing.
We are waiting for further direction from the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) with respect to sports teams at the secondary level.
Further discussion is planned between regional School Boards and the Northwestern Health Unit concerning extra-curricular activities and the necessary health and safety measures required.

Before and After School Programs
While schools are open for in-person learning, before and after school programs may continue at the discretion of the operator. If schools pivot to remote learning, these programs may be temporarily paused.
Community Use of Schools
Although, Community use of schools permits may be allowed as long as the activities are aligned with public health guidance and direction, there will be limited Community Use of Schools activities as we focus our resources on keeping schools open for student learning. We will work with public health guidance and direction from the Northwestern Health Unit.
Community use of school requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
